A Message is the Task
Each thread can be a task, just need to mark a message. You already set the task, it's just a thread in Slack. No need to copy text into the Jira as questions and clarifying messages will be directly in Slack.
3 simple step to use "Tasks for Slack" App
Install the App
Find "Task for Slack" in App Directory or press "Add to Slack" button above
"Add task" in context menu on any message
The context menu of each message will contain the "Add Task" action.
Close task from a thread when it's done
A task is already in a thread and it self-sufficient. No need to go anywhere to close it.
